Sebastian Birkel is CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Europcar Mobility Group.
Prior to his appointment in May 2025, he was CEO of profection Group, an international personnel and property services provider.
Sebastian Birkel is a seasoned mobility industry professional with more than 13 years of experience at Sixt, where he held various leadership positions in Germany and the US, including Divisional Board Member for Group Financial Performance and CEO of Sixt North America.
He began his career in 2007 at Roland Berger, where he provided strategic support to companies undergoing restructuring.
Sebastian Birkel holds a degree in Business Administration from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht and a Master of Science (Msc) in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
Olivier Baldassari is Group Chief Operati Officer and member of the Management Board.
He joined us in January 2019 and was previously MD of Europcar Mobility Group USA.
He has a recognized experience in Operations and in Technology as enablers of transformation, implemented across different business environment and cultures.
Before joining the group, he was VP Operations and Logistics for the USA at Rexel, where he strongly contributed to the transformation of the activity. Prior to this, he held different senior management positions at Rexel (in France and Southern Europe), Delphi Corporation and at Smurfit Kappa.
Joachim Hinz is Chief Financial Officer and member of the Management Board of Europcar Mobility Group since May 2025.
He has over 25 years of experience at international level in the automotive and mobility industry.
Prior to his role at Europcar Mobility Group, Hinz held several key positions at SEAT, S.A., including Director of Controlling at SEAT S.A., acting Chief Financial Officer and Director of Financial Planning. Before that, he was Head of Investment Controlling at Škoda in the Czech Republic.
His career began as International Trainee in 1999 at the Volkswagen Group headquarters in Wolfsburg, where he also worked in Group Controlling in the area of product development, before moving to Volkswagen Navarra in Spain to Head Financial Planning.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Wedel and studied also at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences.
Christian Dahlheim is the Chairman of Europcar Mobility Group’s Supervisory Board.
He is currently Chairman of the Management Board of Volkswagen Financial Services AG, that he joined in 2005 as Head of Corporate Development. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Green Mobility Holding.
Between 2008 and 2012, he held the position of Head of Europe & International. In 2012, he moved to VW Credit, Inc. as USA Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In 2014, he was appointed President and CEO of VW Credit, Inc. and assumed overall responsibility for the Volkswagen Group's North American financial services business.
Between 2016 and 2018, Christian Dahlheim was a member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Financial Services AG and was responsible for Sales and Marketing. From 2018 to 2022, he led the Volkswagen Group Sales before returning to Volkswagen Financial Services as Chairman of the Board of Management in 2022.
Christian Dahlheim studied physics and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management from the European Business School.
Holger Peters is a member of Europcar Mobility Group’s Supervisory Board.
Since June 1st, 2023, he was appointed as the Board Member for Finance, IT and Legal Affairs of the SKODA AUTO Management Board. Furthermore, he is a Member of Green Mobility Holding’s Supervisory Board.
In his previous role, Holger Peters managed the Volkswagen Group’s Transformation Office dedicated to establish cooperation with EMG and worked as the Volkswagen representative in the Consortium with Attestor and PON.
Prior to this, Holger Peters was the CEO of Porsche Financial Services GmbH & Co. KG and the Group Executive Officer of the Porsche Financial Services Group which provides mobility, insurance and financial services in more than 16 countries to the Volkswagen Group Brands: Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti.
Overall, Holger Peters has more than 27 years of experience in the Volkswagen Group with various international top management roles at OEM, captive and retail level.
Janus Smalbraak started his career as Investment Manager at NeSBIC Group B.V. In early 2000, Janus Smalbraak joined Pon Holding B.B. as Director of Strategy and Development and was actively involved in the takeover of Geveke N.V. by Pon in 2003.
From 2005 to 2010 he was CEO of Pon's Equipment + Power business. Since 2010, Janus Smaalbrak has been CEO of Pon Holdings B.V., with overall responsibility for Pon in all areas.
David Alhadeff started his career as an Executive Director (Technology, Media, Telecom) at Goldman Sachs & Co Investment Banking Division in London in 2008.
In 2012, he joined ATTESTOR Ltd London UK as a Partner, responsible for special opportunity strategies. He specializes on investments in the corporate, real estate, hospitality and shipping sectors. He is also responsible for corporate control investments.
David Alhadeff holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ovidiu-Radu (Ovi) Petreaca is an experienced international executive with a strong background in business transformation, sales leadership and strategy.
He has held senior roles in private equity and multinational companies, where he led commercial teams and drove organizational change across Europe.
Currently an Operating Partner at Attestor Capital in London, he leads performance improvement programs for portfolio companies and contributes to investment evaluations.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is fluent in six languages, with working experience in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the UK.

Nicolas Béraud took over the position of Chief Product & Technology Officer ad interim in May 2025. He was previously Deputy Chief Product & Technology Officer, overseeing core IT functions, and before that, held various positions within the Group in IT Operations and Infrastructure, Sourcing, eCommerce & Digital, Program Management, and Data. Nicolas has over two decades of experience within the Group’s IT organization and has played a key role in the management of its major transformations.
Earlier in his career, he worked in consulting at Oracle, Atos, and Kearney, with a focus on Business Intelligence and Strategy.
He holds a master’s degree in Economics from La Sorbonne University.
Christian Bouzaid joined the Group in March 2024, as Group Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, member of the Executive Committee.
Christian Bouzaid is a seasoned senior leader, with a strong expertise in revenue development and optimization strategies in the leisure industry.
Since 2018, he was Commercial Planning and Optimization Vice-President at Walt Disney World in Orlando. Prior to this, he held several revenue management and digital marketing positions at Disnelyland Paris, Corsair International and Air France - KLM.

Sybille Van Steijn joined the Group in November 2023 as Chief HR Officer, member of the Executive Committee.
She spent the last ten years at Pon, where she became in 2021 Senior Vice President HR and member of the Executive Board of Directors of Pon Holdings, holding global HR responsibilities to foster and support the growth of Pon’s global footprint.
In addition to this corporate role, Sybille has also been VP HR of Pon.Bike business cluster (the world’s leading bicycle family with iconic brands such as Gazelle, Urban Arrow, Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Cervélo, ...) where she contributed to the development of the bike business in Europe, Asia/Pacific and North America.
Sybille is a graduate from La Sorbonne and the University of London.
