Europcar Mobility Group has been Europe’s leading car rental provider for almost 70 years and one of the major players in the mobility sector. As a car rental company, Europcar built the fundamentals of the usage and sharing economies into its core business – mobility – a long time ago.
Europcar Mobility Group operates through multi brands meeting every customer specific needs; its 4 major brands being: Europcar® – the European leader in vehicle rental services, Goldcar® – the most important low-cost car-rental company in Europe, InterRent® – ‘mid-tier’ brand focused on leisure and Ubeeqo® – a European company specializing in fleet and mobility solutions for both the business and the end-customers market.
Europcar Mobility Group has decided to focus its strategy on its four main brands, Europcar®, Goldcar®, InterRent® and Ubeeqo® targeting a wide range of customer segments for vehicle rentals.
Europcar® is the Group’s core brand an offers short-term vehicle rental. Europcar® offers a wide variety of recent models of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles for rental on daily, weekly or monthly basis.
At 31 december 2017, Europcar® is deployed over 133 countries with a network of 3, 680 point of sales.

Goldcar® is Europe’s largest low-cost car rental company
InterRent® is the value for money brand of the Group targeting leisure customers. The brand, whose slogan is “Drive. Save. Enjoy.”, reflects the conflicting challenge, to offer low prices while also providing world class service quality as befits a market leader like Europcar. InterRent was launched late 2011 in Portugal and Spain and was an immediate success.
At 31 December 2016, InterRent® had 116 car hire branches, primarily in airports and train stations, and a fleet of around 21,478 vehicles.
Ubeeqo® offers its B2B and B2C customers access to a multi-modal reservation platform allowing customers to car-sharing services (general public or companies). The Ubeeqo brand is now present in France, England, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium. It has been present in Italy since December 2016 through GuidaMi and in Spain through Bluemove since June 2016.
Europcar Group created Europcar Lab to study mobility market usages and search for new mobility solutions opportunities with mobility actors worldwide, whether such opportunities with customers, partners, or technology or mobility expert consultants.
Europcar Lab is intended to be an ideas incubator for new products and services that provide mobility solutions for the Group.
Europcar Lab aims to support internal projects, as well as secure minority and majority stakes in innovative structures.

The Europcar network is made up of rental agencies operated directly by the company and rental agencies operated by agents and franchisees. To extend and expand its worldwide presence, Europcar also relies on partnerships and general sales representation agreements. The rental agencies operated directly by Europcar are located in countries where the company has a long-term presence and extensive experience, i.e. Germany, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
Franchises add to the network worldwide, increasing the brand’s visibility and offering the widest possible choice of destinations.
